The bottom valence arrangement reminds me of something. I can't think what it is but a canoe paddle comes to mind.

Agree. Think it would of looked better if the bumper extended upto the bottom of the headlight. Dont see the point of this black hole.

Can’t help but think that the new drop grille arrangement on the new Hyundai i800 and the Renault trafic looks a little better.

That’s where the indicator is or drl on the none led vans but yep it’s lost space on the led headlight vans

Agreed I spotted the bumper wing mismatch straight away,that’s the downside of paint and restoration I see every single flaw

If you search back on this forum you’ll find various negative posts about the design of the T5.1, T6 and now the T6.1 upon their release.

it takes time for eyes /mind to adjust to a new design.

I think you’re right about ’marmite’. Personally I love both the colour and the design, although I that space under the LED lights is a bit odd.

I noticed that the same area looks much better in the official VW brochure with their pro marketing photographers doing what they are paid to do.

My van is getting serviced in early Feb, so hopefully they’ll have one in the showroom so I can see it in the flesh.

I suspect that bronze colour is probably not going to age well.

I remember my father buying a Morris Marina in Harvest Gold. I couldn't understand then what had possessed him to choose that colour.

I like the new control panel but not the Ocean kitchen finish or the front bumper or the standard dash.

I have always liked the slightly upgraded dash on the Cali and find the dash pocket with lid on the top of my dash very useful.

Its great to see a dealer showing us what they have in but I hope the colour matching on different panels will be better in different colours.

I smeared one of my panels with marmite and you’re right, it looks very similar. Perhaps marmite on a white background would be a match. Luckily I could wash mine off though.
