Rip off wifi charges in France

We have been coming to France for many years now and we have noticed prices are increasing big time each year, the site we are currently on charges €3 euro per hour for wifi, also many sites now charge a booking fee of around £20 even if you only stay for one night. We do not have the luxury of going off peak so normally have to book most sites in advance. Just some advance warning for others ...

I think WiFi in the UK is equally as much of a rip off. It's just viewed as another revenue stream sadly.
