fit for 9 yr. old and 13 yr. old

I am going to rent a California in Germany for a month of touring. Do you find that kids need more room than it has to offer? We tent camp often but only for a week at a time. What has been your experience?

you might need some blocks on the pedals for the 9 yo :lol:

She is quite tall for her age so the blocks won't be necessary. However, she does prefer driving an automatic which are unavailable for hire in Germany.

I think they will be fine for touring there is loads of space when touring and when camped up I am sure they will find the top an adventure

Thank you. I was hoping that would be the case. Now I have to try poll my friends and relatives to try and find a manual transmission car. I haven't driven one in 15 years.

We have 2 kids (10+12) - a boy and girl.

If we are touring and only stopping one night then we all fit inside, but if we are stopping longer we use a vango kela awning so we can spreadout a bit
