My Touch screen in my 2019 T6 has stopped working in places - making sat nav unusable. And changing radio channels becoming same

Is anyone aware of anywhere in NW England (Manchester / Wigan/ Liverpool /Preston type areas) where they can repair these at a reasonable cost? I beieve this is a common fault and that VW charge a fortune.

Many thanks all

Chesterfield. T6 Forum member with good feedback.

Also a long thread here which details how to potentially fix yourself if you fancy the challenge....

Link to youtube vids on page 10 of the thread...

Got my touch screen from lemon shark. Was a fairly easy repair and now works perfectly. Followed the guide in you tube. Took about 30 minutes. Ordered 2 screens with the anti dazzle and used mine as a Guinea pig and now able to fix my dads also. £20 well spent.

My touch screen on a California Ocean T6 2016 started to fail. Some areas of the screen had intermittent operation and when I plugged in Apple Carplay there were random entries pinging up. I searched and discovered this is a common problem with a failing touch screen.
Contacted Navitex in Liverpool who booked it in for a replacement screen. Removed the old one and replaced for £150. Absolutely brilliant!! the website is at navitex.co.uk where there is information about the repair and how it must be done properly. I think most business is done by post but as I was local, I went myself. Having seen how the unit is removed, glad I did as I would not want to break any of the dashboard trim or retaining clips.

I have ordered a new screen digitizer for £12 and will be changing it when it arrives........
Many moons ago I was an Electronic Instrument Mechanic.

New Screen arrived this morning took half an hour to fit and works a treat.
