Teething Troubles.

63 Reg California. At night all symbols/words on dashboard show red. When I turn the rotary light switch to side lights the symbol changes from red to green. However when I turn the rotary switch again to select headlights the symbol stays red. Is this correct? I have noticed a "clunk" in the steering. The main dealer says that VW are aware of this, but at the moment are just collecting data. Do you "clunk"?
Need to alter headlights for European driving. What's available? Thanks!
