Finally signed on the dotted line for my new to me Cali! Meet Ruby!!! We've actually ended up with an Ocean rather than a Coast which was what we intended originally. Dealership just happened to get one in the fabulous Fortana Red. It was virtually the same price as a highly spec'd Coast - so we decided to go for it! Pick up on 1st May, as it needs a few things fixed on it first. Cannot wait to get started with it - just makes me smile to drive it.F2325D90-D4A1-4CF2-AB0F-5362CBCEABB3.jpeg

Not sure why that picture has come out so badly - it's not pixelated on my computer.

Great stuff well done. Do short trial trips first to get used to it then south of France !

What a lovely colour, hope you enjoy your van, we had to have a few bits fixed before pickup, saved us paying out later, one was the rock and roll bed mechanism. Make sure you get even the little problems sorted like doorstep lights, tambour doors, repairs and replacements do add up.

Congratulations! Hope you love your van as much as I love mine. It took a few trips to get into the swing of things but now I think it’s the most amazing vehicle ever. It’s all about organisation…. Enjoy!

Looks tremendous enjoy. Got my Beach almost 3 years ago and use as a daily drive. Still love getting in to go somewhere even if it is just the weekly shop.
They are wonderful vehicles.

"Few things fixed" already?!
It's an ex-hire vehicle, but not one in nasty condition. By things fixed - I mean - I've requested a full proper valet (not just a showroom job) as there are a couple of minor stains and the cab needs freshening up and some very minor snagging - the Cali light by the doorstep is very slightly loose, a missing air valve cap and the mattress cleaning (or replaced if it doesn't come up nicely). It's a lot of money to spend and I want to be as 'like new' as possible. They also need to locate or replace the missing cutlery insert and shower attachment.

Oh & they're replacing the roof bellows because they had 2 small holes where they'd caught in the roof mechanism. Seems a waste, but I don't think I could darn those - they would still leak.

Enjoy your new van, in the colour you wanted! Fortana is a great colour we love ours in this colour, people often comment on it.

Welcome and yep we still ‘nip ourselves’ three years on from picking up ours… “is this really ours”
Enjoy every trip

Looks lovely! We’ve ordered Fortana and you know what it’s like after you’ve ordered, always wondering if you’ve made the right choice….photos like this convince me we have. Also saw a lovely Fortana 6.1 at the Peterborough show today and it looked stunning in the sunshine. Enjoy the van!

No tambour doors on a 6.1 thankfully

Picking up in a week - counting down the days. Even our 4 year old can't wait! Got some equipment ready and waiting to go - mostly kitchen related.
