View from the side door yesterday as my wife turned the sausages/coals!

Gorgeous day at west wittering and lots of californias there too - some waving, some not!

This is the first weekend out in the van and we loved it.

Yes - well last time we went, could only park on the beach side.

It’s a quagmire there. They rope it off every winter and open it up in the spring when the ground has hardened.

OK, may have been that - we last went on 1st Oct.

We either avoid peak times or sail there for free parking and right on the beach (without the Beach).

Yes, employing a couple of large stones to avoid that annoying slight handbrake slippage you sometimes get with chocks.

Not sure if you’re a regular visitor to Skye, if not we recommend a run out to Kylerhea, beautiful spot, we had it completely to ourselves. There’s a viewing hide, if you’re lucky you’ll see Otters.

We saw an otter while having a coffee the other day after climbing, still special seeing them.
