Wild camping in Spain

We have just watched the total eclipse of the sun in Torreón Mexico,the next eclipse is in Spain in August 2024.We hope to go to see it in our California.Are you allowed to wild camp in Spain or can anyone suggest a campsite near San Pedro de la Ribera which is on the centre line.I’ve tried emailing the campsite there but can’t get a reply.

The rules for wild camping are very simple. As long as the van is legally parked, your are allowed to stay inside your van. By legally parked it means:
- 4 wheels on the ground, no leveling devices
- Pop up roof is ok. Awning, chairs, tables aren't
- Parking should be allowed
