Walking. To the fridge. ;)

Feeling knackered and useless reading this thread. :(

Dinghy sailing in the summer months. When I get the time.

Walking. To the fridge. ;)
Know this is a tongue in cheek but actually quite apt for me as it's only today that I have managed to walk to the fridge without the aid of crutches/ peg leg or air cast boot since August.
Foot injury while windsurfing Going to be a while yet before back to cycling & running but am managing to use the turbo trainer a bit, always hated that before but it's now a relief to be able to do something.
Couple of weeks and might be able to drive the Cali again in preference to the cheapo auto Mitsubishi I'm getting around in now.

I had to look up "Yomping" and "Lympstone" :)

I didn't. Good times apart from the "smarties" tube.

Not that one! (which I hated). Think the push and pull was called the sheep dip. I called it something different. Had a bad experience one time and made my way out.

The underground tunnels are called the "smarties" tubes. A tad tight for someone of my size but I managed. In summer send someone down first due to the possibility of snakes. It may have been a wind up but no wanted to go first!

I always enjoyed my visits there, and Stonehouse.

However I'm a sucker for green hats. They match my eyes

( seriously, when I lived in the USA I also found myself in Fort Bragg. There's just something about a green beret :D )

That doesn't look like UK waters!
Impressive flying a gennaker singlehanded

Yes it’s the town of Vassiliki on the Island of Lefkada in Greece they have various hotels on the beach where you can learn to sail or wind surf. The conditions are fantastic for sailing.

The instructors are very good and they have a wide range of dinghies to choose from.

I usually sail a Laser Vago in the somewhat cooler waters of Loch Earn sunny Scotland.

It’s a different climate but just as much fun.

Flying the gennaker single handed is a bit tricky and the conditions have to be just right.

Some days I spend more time in the water than on top of it.

I hope your foot gets better soon

I play some pretty awful golf, and I love to BBQ (all year). Wife has bought me a brewing course as a Xmas present, so I'm looking forward to trying that out.

Currently building up to the Brighton half.

A wish for warmer weather but otherwise going well.

I used to climb up mountains. Now I take a lift up and slide back down on a couple of planks. I also ride my motorcycle through, round and over them. I'm closing in on a deal for my first campervan so who knows what that will start.

Great thing about March: Less people on the slope and it's warmer. Enjoy your day!
