VW Connect

Hi all

I have installed a data plug into the ODB port on my 2016 California and the VW Connect app works great until I plug my phone into the USB port of my van and Android Auto starts up and VW connect stops working. Is it possible to run both of these apps at the same time? If so how! I have played with all the settings on my phone and in the van but I cant work it out. Has anyone else got both of these apps working together? Or can you just run one or the other?

After a week of trying to get this to work I think that I have finally done it. I downloaded an app called mulitiwindow that lets you run two apps at once on your phone and it worked fine today. Android auto and VW connect both working at the same time. Happy now.
