T6.1 Ocean 204 4 motion
As per the title as of the 5th July the 4motion ocean is back on the configurator along with the following 2 tone colour schemes:
white/ ascot grey
silver/blue
silver /grey
silver / red

Get them while you can!!

Is the configurator your bedtime reading, or your mastermind specialist subject? Why can't you be content with your present camper?

I'm not looking for another van, just thought others may be interested, it is a VW California Forum after all...

One of our IT whizz kids set up an alert for me a long while back when I was looking for my second van, every time VW load up a new version of the configurator I get an automatic notification.

Further update, All two tones schemes have disappeared again, as has the Surf model.
Prices for the 4motion look to be the same as before it disappeared.

That’s a pity about the colours. The blue/silver and red/silver 2 tones look good.

Those Surf models are going to be instant collectors items :)

Mines been on order since 26th of April and still no build date, beginning to think I’ll never see it :(

Reminds me of my Buzz order.
Every month I would get the email, letting me know I still didn’t have a build date. Eventually, thankfully, I lost interest and Volkswagen lost a sale.

It looks as if the 4Motion has disappeared again!

My order was placed a few days ago for a 204 2WD and noticed yesterday that the 4M was on the configurator. Quite pleased it’s disappeared again as it would have pushed the price to over £90k before discount. I’m sure the 2WD will be adequate.

Is your bedtime reading threads you appear not to be interested in. Then posting unfriendly remarks.
The forum thrives on members who do research that others find useful or just interesting.
Chill Vago, and keep up the good work Andy.

Have you looked on Autotrader at the Buzz for sale. Just not selling, despite the long waiting time for new order, especially for two-tones. You could buy a new yellow/white Buzz for £3500 less than at release. The hype is not converting into sales it appears.

I will post on the Buzz thread. But agree, stock appears to be available.

Probably just trying to fill the gap as a result of reduced Buzz sales. They need to keep the workforce busy / paid & Unions happy.

Suspect it was an error at VW putting the 4Motion Oceans back on the configurator........other options included bulkhead removal (?), comfort seats (?), Height adjustable driver and passenger seats (?), electrically controlled driver's seat with memory positioning (?) and other random other options.
I configured an Ocean, got the code which I passed on to my dealers the next morning, but when they tried to order it the configurator ran as "ERROR" and the salesman checked with VW and the 4Motion didn't exist.........then again what was the memory, height adjustable, electric seats with bulkhead removal all about?

4Motion appeared last week on the VW configurator in Slovenia as well, and it is still available, costs 4.000,00 eur.

At €4k for a new 4Motion, sign me up for 10 of them !! !! I’d start a rental business and retire :cheers
