Rust,corrosion in the engine compartment

Hello,

Ive just been looking over the engine tonight and noticed some rusty bolts,rust on some metal thingy(no idea what) and furring on some of the nuts.The van is only two years old with 13,0000 miles,should the engine not still be in pritine condition?
My LC is four years old with no rust whats so ever.Is it a warranty issue or a case of spraying wd 40 all over it??

Sorry for the delay had to go away,please find attached a couple of photos,it's only a small amounts of rust .

Don't use WD40,it is just a penetrating oil and lubricant. ACF50, expensive compared with WD40,but stops and inhibits rust. Can be used on electrical fittings as well . Approved by the FDA for use on aircraft as a corrosion inhibitor and a definite favourite of the motorcycle fraternity.
