I just thought I would check where I was in the queue for the roof repair, given that I logged the issue in July last year. VW Customer services kindly checked for me, and rather sheepishly called back to say that there was no record of my Cali being booked in for a repair!! They admit that they have the warranty claim on their system, but somehow I was missed off the list for the local workshop in Bristol.
To add insult to injury, they pointed out that it didn't really matter, as they are out of stock of parts to repair the roof anyway ...
I won't repeat my reply in a public forum, but it is safe to say that I am not thrilled, given that the paint blisters have now burst and look absolutely atrocious.
