Rear seat headrests

Hi, Jamie has done a great feature in the downloads section on how to remove the headrests.Which in my opinion is poorly designed by VW because they foul the cargo area under the seat back when in the flat bed position resulting in severe loss of carrying space ( or if you forget there is stuff under there ------damaged items ).

I have tried but failed to find a direct email address for Jamie to ask him :

If when the C pins are removed and the headrests pulled out can they be simply slid back into position and stay there loose in their sockets without reinstalling the C pins.I pressume they wont fall out because they are vertical and deep into the sockets.
They could then be pulled in and out as needed ?

If anyone knows Jamie perhaps they could ask him to comment.

Hi,

The headrests can be dropped back in, and will stay in position loosely as the holes are fairly deep.

Thanks Jamie thats what I thought but just wated it confirmed before I go ahead and do mine.

Your technical postings are brilliant by the way.
