Ocean 6.1 not showing as plugged in with EHU

Hey folks
Got a new ocean 6.1 and plugged it in to Ehu at home and on a campsite. The plug works so it registers as plugged into ehu but it doesn’t charge the batteries or show that it’s plugged in on the screen. It also doesn’t acknowledge that I need to unplug when I start the engine. I am most puzzled. Any tips? Thanks

Have you flicked the EHU circuit breaker in the rear cupboard?

Red indicator on the circuit breaker means that you have.

It’s on green. Should it be on red?

yes red means the circuit breaker is switched on. Green means it is switched off.

Remember you are seeing German colour coding standards.

Flicking the circuit breaker to show red will cause the control panel to show that the EHU is connected.

It was actually on red but I’d noticed that the cupboard light was continually on as the switch had broken. So I’ve fixed that so the light now goes off when the cupboard is shut. The battery life seemed to go up and it’s now charging happily. I’ll keep my eye on this. Thanks
