Hi. I note from previous threads that leaving a mattress topper upstairs when the roof is lowered isn’t recommended. We did that with our old SE without problems. Is this still current thinking and is the topper actually needed on the 6.1 with the new spring system.
Thanks as always David and Bev

Horses for courses, Some do, and fine, some don't and damage the roof. We tend not too for the latter reason. Depends what you mean by topper - there is already a topper up there and the new springs are great IMHO. We also have a Sea to Summit SIM and that works well up there, for an extra bit of comfort, but we never leave up there deflated or otherwise. Some do. The general guide we go by is we don't leave anything up there that is more than an over-sheet and mattress protector. Everything else out when lowering. If we are just pushing the bed up for the day, we are a little more forgiving.
