Can anyone tell me where to buy a drying rack for towels etc. to attach to the outside of the Cali? I don't have a cycle rack.

Kev, can we get a close up, or a detailed write-up of how this fixes to the van, so those of us in 'Rusty Corner' can see if will fit older buses.
Cheers

Hi the washing line fits into the awning channel using similar thumbscrews to the calitopper
So unless you have the awning channel it won't fit.

As David has said these only fit the t5 Cali. I will have a word with our supplier to see if one can be made for the t4 :thumb

The problem will be that with the Westy there are no rails as standard and the T4 has no gutters. Basically, there is nothing standard to clamp something like this to.

Has anyone used this for drying towels? We tried it last weekend but found that the elastic nature of the line meant a big sag with a towel on it, Maybe we could tension it further by spacing the brackets further apart, but I wonder if a slightly less elastic line might be called for.

Has anyone used. Kampa portable clothes dryer. Just not quite sure exactly how it catches onto rails etc . Also are ends rubberised so as not to causes damage.

We use this and have just upgraded to a newer better model…..

Big tubey thing on the tail gate, usually used for bikes, make a great towel rack.

I Hang my towel on the arms of the wind out awning. Microfibre towel dries very quick too. Failing that or bad weather, drape it over the back seat.

I find anything hung that close to the van just transfers the dirt from the van to whatever Has been hung.

Awning arms or hooks hung in the rail at the front of the awning are the answer.
