Advice / help pls !

On the sliding door the sliding part of the window just fell out into my husbands hands! We managed to get it back in but pretty unnerved esp as we are one week into a three week trip through France & Spain and ending up in Portugal

Anyone else had this? Any advice to share? The rubber doesnt look perished and all nobbly bits (apologies for the technical terms here) look fine.

Obviously slightly nervous now re break ins so we are changing our plans to avoid large cities etc.

Thanks !

Sorry for this... I see it is a T7 so it looks like the security problem still exists. Many T6 owners had their vans broken into with the window easily removed by thieves. If you do not have "dead locks" fitted from the factory then sticking the hand through the opening and unlocking a van from inside is too easy. There is thread here with security bars mentioned. You will find it.

Do you mean the Wolfshund device?

Yes, but I have no experience with this system. Purposely, I have bought Coast and not Ocean.... so no sliding side window in the right side door and no electric roof mechanism. Also 17' not18" wheels for comfort. Otherwise my 4mo Coast is as fully equipped as an Ocean is... plus some added options.

The OP has a 2014 Ocean. He has not identified his vehicle correctly.

Yes - you are right. Was keen to know if others had had the same issue and any tips on getting back in? We managed to get it back but not feeling too good about it …,

It would be helpful to others if you could correct your vehicle in your Avatar information. There are very few T7 owners on the Forum at present.
