Hello everybody, I’ve just joined the club but have had our California Generation Westfalia 2.5 TDI
since 2001 when she was 6months old.
As you folks probably know she was made only LHD and only a few were produced before Westfalia
stopped trading after years of wonderful quality campers.
She came from Westfalia fully equipped with a bike rack for 5 bikes, built in fresh and waste water tanks, central heating, a fridge/freezer going down to minus 20, a computer readout showing battery condition,timing for
eberspacher stand heizung (central heating) & temperature, outside temperature, water level for fresh water tank, setting for freezer/fridge. Seats are heated and (when my wife lets me take off the seat covers for photo insurance valuation) are embroided with the name “GENERATION”
Our “baby” is immaculate with 150,000 KLMS (90K MILES ODD) now 17 yrs young.
The only draw back is on our return after leaving her parked is our having to read notes on the screen saying people wishing to buy her!!
