Cali Beach 2015 tax class?

Hi,

I'm importing my brand new Cali Beach and to fill in the DVLA's V55/4 form I have to specify the tax class.

What's the one your Cali Beach has?

I think it could be Tax Class 39, but not pretty sure.

The Beach is classed as a car so the first year road tax is considerably higher than the SE. If I recall correctly it is double in the first year - designed to deter people buying higher ommission vehicles, or gather more tax. You may be lucky if you have registered and paid tax abroad as it won't be the first UK registration.

Looks like the "tax class" is..... "Diesel car". Now trying to tell what's the body type of the Cali Beach... car? van?

I had a letter fom the dealer stating 'diesel car' to avoid an extra 10% duty when importing to NZ.
