My journey was at a steady 70 on cruise control where possible, which was for most of it, reducing to around 60-65 on the motorway due to traffic so reasonably ideal conditions - although the A3 does feel like one big hill sometimes :laugh2

It is very easy to see, if you watch the DiS, that the engine can be very thirsty when it wants to be.

On a long journey (500 miles), sticking to 70mph on motorways I got 37mpg fully loaded.

Sticking to 80mph I turned in 34mpg still fully loaded.

Around town/commuting I'm averaging about 35mpg.

Van is a 140bhp manual with 2000miles on the clock so I'm expecting that to get better and better.

I'd say I drive economically.

I'm quite pleased with that.
