Bellow replacement under warranty

Has anyone recently had their bellows replaced under warranty? We have 2019 T6 Beach, the bellows constantly come detached from the front top passenger side. VW have looked at it twice and reattached but each time it comes back off. They say they have submitted a warranty claim but VW have refused as it’s a component so isn’t covered.
They have given a price for replacement bellows, which I assume would be the new material. I’m not keen on using our local van centre and would rather go to a more experienced centre such as Breeze or does anyone recommend using a pop top specialist?

Can’t see how they can argue that it’s “a component“, surely every item that makes up a California is a component ?
I would say go to Breeze or similar VW so that you have some comeback if you have a problem. Having said that, if it’s just an issue of it coming away from the fixing groove, then probably worth a go at a diy fix. Nothing to lose if VW are going to make you fork out for a new canvas.
