Battery problems, help required

Thank you fall your ideas people.

I tried the booster again and the engine turned over but did not fire. I am shortly going to try and jump it. If we can can another car close enough.

My first car was a 1936 Hillman Mix. Battery was almost always flat. I just got the starting handle out of the boot and away I went.

Got it going. one last gasp from the booster and it appears to be charging.

What a relief.
