Additional leisure battery

Hi all

Providing I have the room available, is it possible to add an additional leisure battery to my van. I have my stereo wired to my existing 2 leisure batteries. Will it damage the stereo or over load any devices? I'm not quite up to speed on auoto electrics with voltages etc

They need to be wired in paralell to maintain 12 volts. You may have problems charging them as the alternator, & indead the hookup charger, may not cope with additional amps (battery capacity).
Where were you thinking of locating the extra battery ?
Maybe simpler to see if you can get slightly higher amp batteries to replace currant leisure batteries.
