5th seat

Hi.thought I would post these images of the 5th seat in my Cali. I put it in there when I’m using the van as a daily. Ones you get used to it it’s quite easy.you can put it on the rails near the sink so the passenger has more leg room.you need to take out the bump stop and put it in the rail closes to the door.

Engage your core when lifting it in and out, I did my back in so many times getting that thing in an out!

I understand, I also use it regularly. I even made a cart to take that heavy thing to the cali and back.

The between seat storage is on amazon. Just kampers transporter centre console. The grey one looks like factory fitted in my Cali. £140.

Great idea. I bought a gorgeous leather one to match the seats in my 2008 Cali many years ago, but I don't think I've ever used it! It is very heavy and awkward to carry. You also have to find somewhere to store it and keep it dry when not in use (it's too heavy to carry upstairs!). I might sell mine, if I keep my old van much longer (unless - of course - it adds to the ultimate value!).
