Sliding Door Alarm

Is it possible to turn the alarm off the sliding door. It proves a bit of a nuisance in the late night loo dash!!

Think this is quite a common request - unfortunately there is no way to turn it off in software, so your only option is to unwire the alarm, or break the alarm.

We have the power door as well and have not had any complaints - if you have frequent loo runs then you can switch the door to manual, but then it is a bit of a pain to close. However turning to manual may also save the battery if you are off hook up.

Thanks, I thought I might have been missing something obvious like a switch to disable the alarm.

Think it is the German Health and Safety regulations - apparently you won't get squashed by a door if it is beeping (even though the block sensor is so sensitive that a blade of grass will stop it!!)

If want real beeping - try to move a DSG van with the roof up and side door open - it doesn't like that (I was putting it on levelling blocks)
