Just come down from the Pyrenees through the Bielsa tunnel to Aragon for the Moto GP.
Great driving roads but stopped in a layby next to bus load of Germans to eat my ham and cheese butty. (very English)
One of the Germans kept eying up the van with sideways looks and after a few minutes sidled over and said "would you like a sausage". So I'm thinking what the ****, not being used to strange men asking questions like that.
Anyway, turns out he is the coach driver going up from Barcelona to Lourdes on some sort of pilgrimage. He has provided lunch for the passengers consisting of sausage and saurkraut and has a sausage left over. Wants a Cali which is why I was getting the odd looks and thought offering me a sausage was a way to get conversation going about the van.
So, ended up with a foot long sausage and a chat in a Spanish layby about California's
Anyone else had a weird experience?
