What a lovely experience.
We bought our 2018 Cali Beach from the VW Van Centre in Birmingham around three weeks ago and can honestly say that it was a most enjoyable experience. No pushy salespersons, we were left to look around the vehicles, allowed to have the keys and sit in the vans, and basically being able to take as much time as we wanted to consider a Beach or an Ocean. Darren the salesman was very knowledgeable on the Calis, and helped us enormously in choosing the right one for us. My wife said after that she could be friends with him, as he was such a nice chap
All the staff are very friendly, helpful, including the General Manager who came out and congratulated us on our purchase.
After care is excellent, again with all the staff being very helpful in keeping us informed of progress when we took our Cali in for some minor repairs. They even washed our van for us when we picked him up.
Top garage, top people, top after care, top service.

Ha ha, I offered her in part exchange along with two camels and a goat but he wasn't having any! Looks like she'll have to continue to ride shotgun for a while.

B'ham Van Centre have been nothing but helpful to me over 3 years and two Calis. Friendly staff, Cali Sales Specialist (Dedicated I think - really knows his onions!), very good after sales service and servicing.
They are part of the Swansway Group of companies (family owned).

Awful experience from them in terms of after sales (see my posts regarding the wrong mattress being supplied). Fobbed me off for ages insisting mattress for a 2 seat Beach was correct for a 3 seater. Agreed that Liverpool and Chris are excellent though.

We can only speak as to our own experience, we found them to be extremely poor.

When all things go right, all dealers are good. When all is well, a few good words can make you feel on top of the world. That is easy stuff ... and leads to glowing feedback on here.

It is when things go wrong, you see the true mettle of the dealers. There are very few.

My experience suggests that even when all things go right all dealers are not good.
I have to agree however it is when things go wrong that the real quality of a dealer comes to the fore.

Purchased our last 2 vans from swansway Preston lancashire Guy Vincent in sales was first class ...as always,nothing is ever too much bother so clued up on the things he sells absolutely fantastic dealership I wouldn’t go anywhere else it’s rare you feel confident your not being had over!!!!!!
