Dated 2004, covering many VW's but also T5 and California. However many of the functions described have not changed that much over the years. May be of use to somebody.

That's interesting stuff WG. Especially as the whole kitchen unit, panels, roof system pretty much the entire camper 'conversion' seems almost totally unchanged bar the odd small detail change since they designed it maybe 15 years ago now. If it ain't broke (roof paint, engine issues notwithstanding) don't fix it I guess.

Indeed, I was trying to be uncharitably kind to VW for once. Well, you have to in maybe 1% of posts I guess...

They sure have got their money back on the cost of developing that kitchen/wardrobe unit though. No wonder they made five billion Euros operating profit last year despite all the legal woes (poor things). Or maybe they did that by sticking a few windows in a van together with an old tent for a roof and charging £60,000 for us to have the privilege of seeing the roof crumble and the engine fall apart. Ooopps, there I go again...
