VW Gardx on a new cali

Vehicle Protection System - Gardx inside and out.....has anyone taken this option or have views about it?

I had gardx put on my current car from new...
Assuming it was applied to the required standard I can't say it has been any different than any car I've owned. Some with a paint protection of different brands and some without anything.
I have never paid for a private detailer to remove imperfections and apply these expensive coatings like Gtechnic etc... but they do seem more worthwhile to me.
