Table fixing in sliding door

I am trying to remove the sliding door panel so I can fix the mechanism that locks the table into position on my 2007 Cali. It has always stuck, a bit, but after last week's use, I cannot get the catch to drop back down to hold the table. I have found the four screws at the bottom of the sliding door, but I am still having trouble removing the panel. Any ideas, diagrams, suggestions, please?

There have been others with problems regarding the release button of the table.

This has been suggested in the past but a reminder.

Hi Tony, I took mine into Breeze of Poole who had a mod for the catch, I never had an issue after that. It may be better to go into your local dealer.
