Hi All you techies
I have just bought a new Cali (2013) fitted with a RNS 510 and can't find out how to get speed camera warnings. Surely it must be capable ,or do I have to go back to a simple Tom Tom.
Any ideas please.
Richard

Goto:
Setup
Maps
Select map details
Scroll down. Speed cameras should be at the bottom.

It is possible that they haven't been added by the installer.

Have Fun

Bob

If not installed it is easily done by putting camera database on an sd card & importing into RNS.
Instructions "add camera database RNS510" using software PoInspector in the download section here http://vwcaliforniaclub.com/downloads.php
Thanks Andy
It appears that it will not give an audible warning, and if that is the case it is of no use. I will be better off looking at the road instead of the Nav screen that just shows the location of cameras.
Perhaps there is some way round the problem, I will keep trying !!!!!

Looking at the road is often a good idea while driving :)
