Hi My rear seat track rubbers have been damaged and I was wondering whether it is easy to remove them and slip some new replacements into the track. The rubber has been sliced in one place so exposing the metal underneath and is likely to collect grit and dust in the track. Sorry if this has been asked before I’m new to California life. Thanks in advance.

Sadly no! Mine has been butchered by the dealer attempting to replace mine on an anaesthetic warranty issue. Wish I hadn’t done it. The seat needs to come out and I think the exhaust has to come off if it’s the right one.

It’s a warranty job so the dealer / vw is picking up the cost. They still need to remedy the mess they’ve made
