lowering the roof

hi i have a 2005 cali t5, when i lower the roof it goes down paralel between both spring but when it gets to the las 40 cm before shutting down the left side goes faster and reaches the bottom some seconds before the right part , then the right parts gets to the bottom and closes ok, is that normal or one spring is lossing power?,that same spring doesnt get to the last half inch where the rail makes a bump to keep the roof all up at maximum heigth.

It doesn't sound right to me, i would get it looked at as this sounds like it could cause further damage if left. Mine's never done this.
