Is the bidder on these winter wheels anyone here?

I did see them ,but not bid ,as they will not fit a 180 ... They didn't make 180 panel van transporters until face- lift if I'm right .. Unless they are off an 07 sport line ,but then they wouldn't be steel wheels on a sport line ....

Why wouldn't they fit Lee? Offset? They are 17s

The 180's have massive oversized brakes on them and vw say that 180 17's are different from other transporter 17's.....the offset is different .... I was told to look out face lift 180's steels or just buy a new steel for £56+vat less discount .
I may have been fed wrong info ,but a friend has a new 140 LWB and he has put new wheels on it and i wanted his steels ,but he even told me they wouldn't fit my 180....

They will fit over the 180's brakes. They are exactly the same as the latest wheels. I have a nearly brand new set exactly the same for sale :thumb

Gosh it is more complicated than I'd appreciated.
So are the last ones on this list, the et56 - as per Oli"s -, the only 180 compatible ones?

Mansfield, lovely place, not. It's where I have to work but thankfully I live 13 miles away :lol: . Only kidding, it's OK really. If it is anyone on here and they cannot pick em up immediately I could probably pick them up and keep em in my garage until you can collect. That is if the seller wants them out of the way of course.

As far as I'm aware the ony VW wheels that fit over the 180 brakes are;

17 steels, as above
17 Thunder
18 5 spoke Sportline
18 Canberra

I don't think VW make anything else that's fits :thumb

if you get them and they fit then i'd be up for one as a spare shambly and i think we know two others that would as well... ;)

These will fit over the front calipers. Still used now on facelift vans that are 180's with no alloy wheels

cheers

I bet a quid he got his mate to overbid for them. As already said, what a "tw*t", I hate it when this happens.

I may end up just buying a new steel and part worn tyre as a spare ...lol
