Is it normal to have lots of movement on the central roller of the sliding door?

Hi

I’m hoping someone can reassure me please?

I have a 2019 California Beach with the power latching, and have noticed lots of movement coming from the central rollers of the sliding door when it is open. It’s nearly touching the wheel arch. I understand there should be movement from the hinge, but concerned at the amount of movement coming from the rollers.

Has anyone else noticed this on their California’s?

The sliging door is feeling lose on mine also , and there's not much clearance with the wheel arch indeed . Mentiont lots by fellow owners.
Also mentiont sometimes that the door scratches the wheel acrh and adjustment of the door is needed.
If you are not ok with it have it checked by VW in the meanwhile put some tape on the wheel arch to protect it...
