I feel a bit stupid, but I can't figure out how the little mosquito-window has to fit in the opening of the California 6.1 sliding window ?
Is there an explanation of that somewhere ? I just don't see it ...

Thx,

STefan.

Hi,

Is it a Maxxcamp flyscreen? They make it look real easy in this video.
It's nested in the left part of the sliding mechanism just fine in our van. But every single time I try to slide it out while/after opening the window it takes me a few minutes to get it right. I've asked the guy in the shop where I bought it and he plainly told me it's a pain in the *ss every single time. That's how they're built :upsidedown

It's the same one as in the video ! Thanks ! I'll try it tomorrow.

Regards,

Stefan.

We haven't used ours yet, thanks for the info. I assume that they shouldn't be left in whilst driving?

I wouldn't recommend it - the OEM ones are a fairly loose fit and while unlikely to get pulled out, might get dislodged. Note the window can't be fully closed with them in situ either, so I'd suggest removing completely and shutting the windows when driving.

Just spotted this - got free screens with our Coast last year - not used them yet - no idea what make they are ?!
