...does the Cali use per hour or night for the heater? At 10 degrees, 0 degrees, -10 degrees, etc.
I will be using mine a lot during the winter.

I think it's about 0.7L/hr, maximum, and I think the heater stops below a certain fuel level in tank.

Answer as above. In terms of consumption it does not register on the fuel gauge. I have been to -12 without an external topper.

I think it was even as low as 0.3 l/hour. Been in really cold weather (albeit with topper), never needed more than level 1 on the heater.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the heater cut out when there is just 17 ltrs left in the tank. So, about 1/4 full.
