Hi all

Jumped in the cali earlier and the switch on the driver's door for the electric window isn't working - the switch next to it for the passenger window works fine though.
Could this be a fuse? If not could there be a loose wire somewhere or is it likely to be a faulty switch?

Cheers.

Try wiggling the conduit that carries the wires from the van to the door, looks like a corrugated rubber hose - this fixed mine :p

Will give it a go in the morning thanks

Wouldn't you just know it tried the window this morning and it worked again. Have wiggled the conduit anyway will see what happens

Had a similar one where windows would work and then not work for no reason and it turned out to be the drivers window motor at fault.

cheers

My passenger side failed at about 6m old. Switch was replaced under warranty - modern vw build quality unfortunately.

I can hear the motor trying to operate my window but something is slipping. Does this need a new panel or can it be fixed please?
