Dashboard instruments lighting

Hi,

on my T6 MY2018 Cali, I don't have the rain sensor and as a consequence no "Auto lighting system".
I noticed that when I turn the day lights on (first step on the lights switch) instruments are not illuminated. Instruments light up only with the low beam headlights (second step). Is this normal?
It would be possible to make the instrument panel light up also with the day lights?

Normal.
Best practice is not to drive on Sidelights alone.
The sidelights are also used as Parking lights, hence no Dashboard lights.
