Compressor fridge question

Hi - we are looking at the Dometic and Adventurer range for our VW Cali Beach. What we can't tell is which models would have brackets to fit into the floor of our van. Does anyone else have experience of this and can advise what to go for? Or how they have found a safe solution to tie down while driving? Thank you!

Dometic CFX3 35 is a good size.

You can either fit lashing points into the Cali Floor rails and then feed a roof rack strap around the fridge handles / to lashing points (then you can can still open the lid!).

Or you can get a purpose built bracket:

Ours sits on sliding boot tray under the Multiflex Board, using the roof rack strap method which is fed under the boot tray, and then around the fridge handles.

I’ve got a CFX 35 and looked up the dimensions and it looks to big for the cradle you linked to - do you have that fridge on that cradle?

Hi, we don’t have the cradle…but Vangear make all their own units, so should be able to adjust to size. Just give them a call.

Can anyone also tell us if the Adventurer Alpicool models are any good? They are certainly cheaper!
