Bully Key Ring concern (warning)

I just had a closer look at the Key Rings I have had got at COTF 2013...
After the time they are stripped off the paint now. I noticed, by the colour of metal, that there is good chance that there is some lead content in it.
Of course, if this is the case, it is not too healthy.
As a precaution, I scrapped mine (with regret).

oh dear, these were supplied by VW head office as freebies for everyone, they are still available in the current catalogue.

Hi Martin
In fact, I have nothing to support my worries, except the feeling and look of lead which I know from my childhood, when nobody really cared and understood the problem. The toys containing lead were quite common at the time, unfortunately.
Possibly the word "freebies" may explain, you know, cheap manufacturing...
