a new alternative from Westfalia for the California

Westfalia today introduced at the "Salon des véhicules de loisirs" in Paris (27/09 until 5/10) the T5 Club Joker with pop-up roof.

First deliveries are planned for spring 2015 (as VW T6?)

Unique for this conversion is the fixed toilet and a "shower".
At the first pictures not visible, but the pop-up roof will go up at the rear.

Looks good all off a sudden the Cali has some serious opposition, the Hymer cape town, the marco polo, and now the westy with a toilet and shower!! I think the Cali T6 will have to be a evolution not a carry over to win over these competitors

Toilet ... OK , but why the hell a shower? Does anybody use this in a camper-van or -bus...? Don't think many who have it use it often , in a bigcamper , yes , but in a Cali?

Can you get in the back (to the toilet) whitout opening a door ? Or do you crawl over the back seat.... :crazy
Is there the possibility to sleep/ make a bed downstaires?

...and those seat trims....ugly as hell.... :mrgreen:

Could be that the roof must be opend while cooking/ washing dishes...

There are some more photos on the thread I started yesterday. One shows a fold down shelf (seat?) across the loo, which could be used whilst making a cup of tea etc without opening the (front hinged) roof.

Or you could just sit on the loo!
