12 v socket on front of kitchen unit

Hello! The 12v socket on the front of the kitchen unit (adjacent to the 240v power socket when hooked up) has failed - 2008 rhd California. This needs a special adapter to take phone charger type plugs - fault may be in my adapter/connector. My adapter is a home made affair - not sure where I got the bits.

To help locate the problem, I want to get a new connector - to enable me to plug e.g. phone chargers in that continental style 12v socket - should be live all the time. Any ideas where I can get one??

If that fails . . . . .I'll have to track down the fuse . . . . .
