There are a number of suppliers of child seats for the rear of estate cars such as the big Volvo's, if such seats are approved by the authorities it must be possible to insure them as well, just as in the Westies.Only in a Beach if you do not want to stay in order with laws/insurance.
There was a post here a while back about someone who squished two single seats into an Ocean or 2 seat bench Beach.I know that the T4 Westie could be had with a double removable seat, do our German chums have a pared down basic double to fit on the three rails of the T5/6, it would be great to have an occasional six seater.
I have 7 seats registered for the T6Bech all legal no issues.Only in a Beach if you do not want to stay in order with laws/insurance.

Of course the seats have to be fitted with seat belts. You can not legally carry more persons (or childs for that matter) than there are seatbelts...so a Ocean with a 5th seat means 5 persons
Just playing... It is perfectly possible to fit 9 seats into a Beach.Of course the seats have to be fitted with seat belts.
