Weak spark at hobs

We have discovered that the piezo spark at the hobs is now very weak.

Does the ignitor require a battery to be replaced,, like we have on our bbq?

We cannot find any battery unit.

And have to use a match to ignite the gas now.

Or is there a way to upgrade the hob ignition system?

Piezo systems are battery free.
There’s a thread on this forum Alan where people have installed a battery powered hob igniter. Easy job.
