Ok just back from an amazing launch event
seen quite a few neg posts on other threads already..
Having seen them, crawled all over and found out first hand about changes I think its harsh to say its Facelift only but each to his own view. I am not going to go into spec details etc as they are all now out there on the web. I include a couple of press images. rest are mine.
and having Mark Knopfler playing live at end was a real treat!

Confirmed T6 available in UK from late Oct. Cali version should be here from November.

also to be equipped with telematics.

Hi moysvdub1 the name rings a bell think we have met you at the vw show last year at camper jam
you were with some german guys we were the couple with the huge dog if you remember... you were the guy who really knows all about the t5's in every detail we were introduced to you through some friends of ours ...hey apologies if its not you and if it is thanks for your technical advise you were spot on it fixed our problem on the van and our friends said you would know what it was.

SO I can get a factory two tone paint scheme? would match the old van!

I'm sure you can two tone paint is going to be an option I believe

I quite like the two tone sides which begin to get rid of the slab sides that we see on the mono-tone.
The spec reveals quite a lot of electrics/electronics hanging off it: heaven knows what the fully specced model will cost.

not the concept retro-bulli story again! every few months it comes round again..and again..and again..it ain't gonna happen! Basically it won't sell in high numbers = no profit! VW want a multi use platform that's versatile!
Generation Six (two tone special edition)...at the moment there are no plans to make it available here in RHD but VW UK are working on it and who knows...they did not do RHD T5 Calis for 2 years after it was introduced.

Not sure I agree, look at the Mini and Fiat 500, both retro versions which have been hugely popular. No doubt the VW people know what they are doing although I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping VW would be a bit braver with their styling.

That 2 tone paint job reminds me of the times when you had a "bottom half" respray on your Escort to hide all the rust on the bottom of the doors and the rotting sills, so I'm afraid it's not for me.

Maybe the roof needs to be a different colour then
