Hi , when you hook up at home to charge the leasure battery do you have to also switch to hook up in the van for it to charge ? The hook up symbol only appears when I switch it on

Cheers

Do you mean the breaker switch in the cupboard?

Edit. Just noticed this is the T4 area so outside my comfort zone.

The switch outside the cupboard behind the drivers seat

If I understand your question correctly then, yes, the trip switch behind the drivers seat needs to be on (up) for the charging/mains icon to display.
Why would the trip switch be off, unless you have a fault? Just leave it up.

I think it was more to clear up weather the switch needed to be in the ‘up’ (or on) position for the battery to charge . I think I’ve made a school boy error , had a year old leasure battery that didn’t seem to charge on hook up , thought the battery was done so spent over £350 on a new one . My god that’s a lesson well learned ha
