Hi , when you hook up at home to charge the leasure battery do you have to also switch to hook up in the van for it to charge ? The hook up symbol only appears when I switch it on
If I understand your question correctly then, yes, the trip switch behind the drivers seat needs to be on (up) for the charging/mains icon to display.
Why would the trip switch be off, unless you have a fault? Just leave it up.
I think it was more to clear up weather the switch needed to be in the ‘up’ (or on) position for the battery to charge . I think I’ve made a school boy error , had a year old leasure battery that didn’t seem to charge on hook up , thought the battery was done so spent over £350 on a new one . My god that’s a lesson well learned ha
