Cheap shock absorbing dog vehicle restraints

We had a couple of shock absorbing headrest mounted dog restraints, one in the Van and one in the car.
I had a close look at one to see the makers name one day to get another for herself’s new car and noticed it was almost frayed through. Sure enough so was the other. Tricky to see because of the design’s bunching, so if you have similar it might be worth a look periodically.
The replacements were a lot more researched and robust.
