Are the latest 6/6.1sliding window units compatible with T5.1 California?

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me?
I have a California T5.1 se.
I am looking to replace my kitchen side sliding window unit ( the complete unit not just the slider).
Obviously VW want crazy money to replace so I am looking for other suppliers of genuine part.
I have found one that says it’s compatible with T6 and T6.1. Does anyone know if it is compatible with my T5.1 California?
Are they all the same size?
Are California windows different to say regular transporters ie kombi?

If it helps, the window I fitted in my other post was 7E0 847 711 AJ 9B9.
I fitted this to my 2007 56 plate T5.

Just be sure your glass colour matches (grey tint rather than green).

That’s interesting. The ones I have found online from same place you got yours are exact same code .
My existing colour is dark green on my cali. But one for sale does not specify colour just says tinted. It looks green in the pics tho. Guess I would have to ask them before buying.

The catalogue lists two colour options - green and tinted.
Technically there isn’t such a thing as ‘dark green’ !

The build sticker in your service book ‘should’ give you all the PR codes to identify which glass type your vehicle was build with - QL3 etc etc. Sadly my build sticker did not specify the green glass that was fitted.
